How League.gg works

Own scarce, serial-numbered NFT cards of real Premier League players, field them in your squad, and score points off their real match performances. This page covers all of it: the game, the cards, the market, and the token.

How to play

League.gg is fantasy football on Solana. Instead of picking any player like classic fantasy, you own cards: scarce NFTs you pull from packs or buy on the market, and you can only field players you actually own.

  1. 1Sign up. Log in with Google, email, or a wallet. We create you a Solana wallet automatically, so you need no seed phrase or crypto knowledge to start.
  2. 2Claim your free packs. New managers get 3 free starter packs: a full, legal 15-man squad to get you playing straight away.
  3. 3Build your squad. Pick a starting XI (1 GK, 3 to 5 DEF, 2 to 5 MID, 1 to 3 FWD) plus 4 bench, from the cards you own. Name a captain and their points double each gameweek.
  4. 4Score every matchday. Your players earn points on their real Premier League performances: goals, assists, clean sheets and more. Points update live as matches play out.
  5. 5Climb & collect. Rise up the leaderboard, tear more packs, and trade cards on the market to strengthen your squad.

You don't need a full 15 to start. Partial squads save and score automatically, and lineups lock at each gameweek deadline.

Cards & rarity

Every player exists in four rarity tiers, each with a hard supply cap. Rarity is set by the player's quality: a percentile ranking on price, with season points as the tiebreaker. The very best players are legendary (top 1.5% or so), then epic (4.5%), rare (15%), and everyone else common. There will only ever be 2 of each legendary card, so there are just two Haalands in existence, forever.

RarityPlayersCopies eachTotal cards
legendary9218
epic265130
rare8910890
common4855024,250

Across 609 Premier League players, that's 25,288 total cards this season. Each card carries its own serial number (like #3/5) that never changes. Pull the lowest serial of a scarce card and you hold something genuinely rare.

Packs & odds

Packs contain 5 cards each. Your first three are free. After that they cost about $4 worth of $LGE each (priced live, so the $LGE amount tracks the token), with bulk discounts: 5% off a 5-pack, 10% off a 10-pack. Every slot rolls independently against these odds:

Legendary
0.5%
Epic
3%
Rare
16.5%
Common
80%

If a tier has sold out of a position you need, the draw falls through to the next tier down, so odds shift slightly as scarce cards get claimed. Packs also avoid giving you duplicates of cards you already own wherever the pool allows.

Scoring

Points mirror the fantasy rules you already know, scored from real match data. Your starting XI counts; your captain's points are doubled (vice-captain steps in if your captain doesn't play).

Prizes & payouts

There's a weekly prize pool paid out in $LGE. It's fed by 60% of every pack sale plus the 5% market fee on card trades, so it grows as the game is played. At the end of each gameweek the top 10 managers on that week's leaderboard get paid straight to their wallets.

85% of the pool is paid out each week and the remaining 15% rolls into the next week, so there's always a pot to play for. Payouts are on-chain and gas is on us.

The market

Any card you own can be listed on the player market for a price in $LGE. Buying is a single on-chain transaction. The payment splits between the seller and a 5% fee taken from the seller that goes straight to the prize pool. When you list a card it moves into secure escrow and leaves any un-locked lineups, since you can't field what you don't hold. Cancel any time and it comes straight back.

Locked gameweeks are deadline snapshots, so selling a player never rewrites points already in play. A sold card is yours to field from the next open deadline.

NFTs & your wallet

Every card is a real compressed NFT on Solana, minted straight to your wallet the moment you open a pack. You can verify it in our Season One collection on any explorer. The cards are yours to keep: view them in Phantom, trade them, or send them anywhere.

We sponsor the network gas for everything you do in the game, whether that's opening packs, listing, or buying, so a wallet with zero SOL works perfectly. Sending a card off the platform to an external wallet costs a small 10 $LGE fee. Your wallet is exportable from your profile: grab the secret key and import it into any Solana wallet whenever you like.

$LGE tokenomics

$LGE is the in-game currency that buys packs and settles the market. It launches fair on pump.fun: every token enters through the bonding curve at the same price for everyone, from block one. No presale, no team allocation.

Supply

1,000,000,000 fixed. No mint authority, no inflation

Launch

Prizes & staking

Graduation

curve completes, liquidity moves on-chain, and it trades everywhere

The 5% market fee and pack revenue flow back into the ecosystem as prize pools and staking rewards. Fees in, rewards out.

Staking

Season oneLock your $LGE and it works two jobs at once: real APY on the stake, plus an in-game edge while it's locked. Pack discounts and a points boost scale with your tier. Staking rewards are funded by protocol fees buying $LGE from the open market, so it's fees in, rewards out, never inflation.

Bronze1,000+ $LGE5% pack discount
Silver10,000+ $LGE10% off packs + priority on limited drops
Gold50,000+ $LGE15% off packs + an in-game points boost

Unstaking returns your full balance, since the stake is always yours. Staking goes live in season one, and exact APY and lock terms will be published here before it launches.

FAQ

Do I need crypto to play?

No. Sign in with Google or email and we create a Solana wallet for you behind the scenes. Your first packs are free and gas is on us, so you can play the whole game without ever touching SOL.

How is a card's rarity decided?

By the player's quality percentile, ranked on price with season points breaking ties. The top 1.5% or so are legendary, the next 4.5% epic, 15% rare, and the rest common. It's deterministic, so the same player lands in the same tier for everyone.

How many cards are there?

25,288 total this season across 609 players: 2 copies of each legendary, 5 epic, 10 rare, 50 common.

Can supply ever increase?

No. Caps are enforced on-chain per player and never rise. When a card sells out, the only way to get one is the market.

What happens to my squad if I sell a player mid-gameweek?

If the gameweek is still open, the card is removed from your lineup when it leaves your wallet. If the deadline has already passed, that gameweek is locked, and your points already in play are never rewritten.

Are the cards really NFTs I own?

Yes. They're compressed NFTs on Solana, in your own wallet, in the Season One collection. Export your wallet key from your profile and view or trade them anywhere.

Can I stake $LGE?

Staking launches in season one. Locking $LGE will earn APY plus in-game perks that scale by tier: Bronze (1k+), Silver (10k+) and Gold (50k+), funded by protocol fees rather than inflation. Full APY and lock terms will be posted here before it goes live.

Is this affiliated with the Premier League?

No. League.gg is an independent fantasy game and is not affiliated with any league or club. It's 18+, so please play responsibly.
